The Queensland Grow Me Instead project and website have been supported by NGIQ through funding from the Australian Governments Caring for our Country.
The Grow Me Instead (GMI) program, first initiated by the Nursery and Garden Industry of NSW & ACT (NGINA), is managed by the Nursery and Garden Industry Australia (NGIA). It is a voluntary partnership with member nurseries to encourage the removal from production and sale of plants known to be invasive in the natural environment.
